I love freedom- and that means I think America is a very special place. It’s a place where a guy like me can say and do what he wants without fear of  being silenced..things like making this blog.  However, I believe that these freedoms are currently under attack by extremists who have infiltrated the United States government.  In the days of my grandfather, the kind of people who are now running the country would have been rounded up and tried for treason.  In my grandfather’s day, the media was a watchdog for the people.  Today, most of the media can only be seen as complicit in helping these extremists destroy the foundation of our country.

I’m a conservative minded independent.  That means I don’t align myself with any particular party.  I can sum up the two party system for you in one word: FAIL.  We need to move away from the two party system.  STOP thinking of yourselves as Democrats and Republicans, but as Americans.  We may not share the same view on certain political issues, but we can all agree that America is a special place with a remarkable history. We must fight to protect the freedoms that were paid for with the blood of  brave men before us.
