Introducing…The Daily Beck
by Joe Seales on May.09, 2010, under Constitution, Glenn Beck, Tea Party
Hello…and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms! It’s been a while since my last post (you’ve come to expect that from me), but I wanted to let you all know about a new blog I’ve just created.
Many of you may know me as the site creator of watchglennbeck.com, or from my YouTube channel, TheDailyBeck. I get a
lot of e-mails from people with suggestions and new ideas for the site. By far the most popular suggestion of all was from folks wanting a public forum to be able to discuss the issues of the day and share their ideas and opinions with other like-minded people.
Enter The Daily Beck.
I have enlisted a collaboration of like-minded people from all over the world who are dedicated to spreading Glenn Beck’s message of limited government, common sense and individual liberty.
Though many of us are conservative/libertarian minded, we come from all sides of the political spectrum and are not all necessarily affiliated with any particular party. In fact, many of us believe that we need to get away from the two-party system- because both parties contain elements of one particular group of people that you will certainly NOT find here- and that is progressives.
We believe in the principles set forth by the Founding Fathers of The United States..and that the Constitution is a divinely inspired document that should be protected and preserved at all costs.
We welcome all opinions- and encourage those who disagree with us to speak out and let their voices be heard. That’s what freedom is all about. We don’t care where you are from or what you believe..as long as you believe in the basic principles of freedom and liberty, you’re welcome at The Daily Beck.
If you are interested in becoming a contributor to The Daily Beck, feel free to e-mail me at thedailybeck@gmail.com.
God bless,
Joe
Obama’s Purple Tie: A Secret Signal of Support For SEIU?
by Joe Seales on Mar.04, 2010, under Glenn Beck, Obama
Just heard Glenn Beck talk about this…In the photo-op speech he gave yesterday surrounded by doctors, he had on a purple tie. Never seen him wear a purple tie before except for when he is talking about health care..I can specifically remember one other time he has done this, but I can’t recall the time/date. Is this his way of saying “I got your back” to SEIU?
Glenn Beck- An Hour With Michael Buble’
by Joe Seales on Dec.24, 2009, under Everything Else, Fox News, Glenn Beck
From a musical perspective, I’ve always liked Michael Buble’. His music is right up my alley-it’s great stuff and you know it. If you’re reading this and you have a taste for jazz/swing/big band stuff- no matter your politics, you and I have something in common, my friend. Admit it, lefties- I know you love this guy. Doesn’t it feel good to find common ground with someone on the complete opposite end of the political spectrum?

Michael Buble'
Recently, Michael Buble’ was seen chilling out on the Fox News Channel for an interview with none other than- your favorite and mine- Glenn Beck. That’s right. They talked about virtually everything- except politics. Now, I have no idea what Buble’s political ideology is and I don’t care. I’ve always assumed his politics were probably similar to that of the Hollywood lefties, but hey- you never know. See, the fact that I don’t know that is a GOOD thing..because if he were to suddenly announce his loyalty to King Obama, I would find it awfully hard to support or listen to him without that always being in the back of my mind.
I’ve rubbed shoulders with a lot of famous people in my life- so I have a stereotypical idea in my head that most musicians, athletes and actors are more than likely arrogant and full of themselves. I have to admit I thought Michael Buble’ was probably no different. Of course this is only an observation, but from what I saw during the Glenn Beck interview, he seemed like a pretty decent guy to me.
Hey, If I’m wrong- I don’t wanna know.. cause I sure am enjoying these new songs..
Props to Glenn Beck for not asking political questions- and props to Michael Buble’ for just being a regular guy.
Stef, if you’re reading this- this one’s for you.
The rest of the interview can be seen on my YouTube channel, TheDailyBeck.
Climategate- The “Harry Read Me” File
by Joe Seales on Dec.02, 2009, under Climategate, Glenn Beck
The “Harry Read Me” File- A Must Read On Climategate
As many of you know, I’ve been video archiving Glenn Beck’s show on Fox News for the last few months and posting many of the clips on You Tube (My Channel, TheDailyBeck). Yesterday, Glenn had on “Welcome To Obamaland” author James Delingpole from across the pond to discuss Climategate and the decision by climatologist Phil Jones to ’step down’ after all those hacked e-mails were released (Watch The Beck Segment Here).
About midway through the interview, Beck asked Delingpole what was the one “earth-shattering” thing that everyone should understand about Climategate. His answer was a file called “Harry Read Me”. Harry Read Me is a file that documents the frustration of a programmer who is trying to manipulate the climate data in a program to give climatologists the result that they want. It even documents that the real “raw” climate data has been erased. Delingpole calls it “data-raping”.
The document is not only very telling of the data manipulation going on, but it is also quite funny to read the programmer’s frustrating comments when he can’t get the program to “work”. Here are just a few excerpts:
“What the hell is supposed to happen here? Oh yeah- there is no ’supposed,’ I can make it up. So I have : – )”
“You can’t imagine what this has cost me — to actually allow the operator to assign false WMO (World Meteorological Organization) codes!! But what else is there in such situations? Especially when dealing with a ‘Master’ database of dubious provenance …”
“OH F— THIS. It’s Sunday evening, I’ve worked all weekend, and just when I thought it was done, I’m hitting yet another problem that’s based on the hopeless state of our databases.”
“This whole project is SUCH A MESS …”
Before we spend 145 trillion dollars on fixing a problem that doesn’t exist, all of the facts should be presented- including these. However, since the media will not touch this, once again we’ll all have to do their job and pass this around.
I have attached the entire “Harry Read Me” file to this post. I can’t make much sense of all the data and numbers. To me, they are just, well- a bunch of numbers. But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what the programmer’s real motive was here.

Michael Savage

Michael Savage
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it unbelievable that the mainstream media has completely ignored one of the biggest news stories of 2009?
In May of this year, Michael Savage, host of the third most listened to talk show in America, was put on a list of persons banned from entering the United Kingdom- a supposedly free nation. His name was placed on the same list with murderers and terrorists by the former UK Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who has since resigned over several political scandals.
His crime? Speaking his political opinion.
That’s right. The British government says that if Savage were to enter their country, he could promote “inter-community tension.” Really? Savage has never advocated violence of any kind. In fact, if the things that the Brits accuse Savage of were actually true, he would have long ago been taken off the air here in America.
Now, you would think that members of the media- regardless of their politics, would be more than happy to come to the aid of one of their own. You would think that they would be smart enough to realize that while it is Savage’s opinion that is unpopular today, it could very well be their own opinion that is unpopular tomorrow. If nothing else, they have an ethical responsibility to inform the public of issues that could ultimately end up affecting us all. After all, Savage has an audience of between eight to ten million listeners each week, many of whom agree with him on most issues – shouldn’t we all be worried that we could be banned next?
Amazingly- with the exception of a few blurbs on Fox News, CNN and a handful of newspaper articles days after the story broke, the mainstream media now seems to have all but forgotten about Michael Savage. Not one reporter has stood up at a single White House press briefing and asked Robert Gibbs why Hilary Clinton has refused to carry out her duty as Secretary of State- by acting on behalf of Savage, an American citizen who is at odds with a foreign government (WND Story). I had pretty much made up my mind that REAL journalism and reporters actually willing to ask tough questions were a thing of the past.

Taxin
Enter Adam Taxin, reporter at the Philadelphia Bulletin. During a Q&A session at a recent luncheon with Brian Tierney, publisher of The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Philadelphia Daily News, Taxin had the chance to ask a question. Sure, he could have tossed the kind of softball question that this guy is probably used to, but instead he chose to ask a question that no one else seems to be willing to ask- Why has the media largely ignored Michael Savage’s ban from Britain? Imagine that- A reporter asking a real question? Tierney obviously wasn’t expecting such a question- and gave an answer that was far from accurate, stating “I think our papers carried it pretty well…” (Full story and transcripts here or audio here). It turns out that neither the Inquirer nor The Daily News has ever mentioned the story. What a shock.
Honestly, I had never heard of Adam Taxin or The Philadelphia Bulletin before Thursday night, when he was featured during the opening monologue of Savage’s radio program. I still don’t know much about him, but I can tell you that I probably have more faith in his ability to do the job of a reporter than anyone currently working at CNN, MSNBC or Fox News. Now, granted it was a question asked to the publisher of a newspaper at a luncheon- and not in the White House press briefing room, but hey- it’s a start.
What is most surprising to me is that even his own colleagues in conservative talk radio, whom you would think should be on the front lines in this fight for free speech, have gone out of their way to ignore the story. Though I still listen to and appreciate them all for their contributions to the conservative movement- they have also lost some credibility with me. How can I take what they say seriously when they continue to ignore a story as important as this?
Bill O’Reilly, when you were accused of sexual harassment, Michael Savage stood up for you. Rush Limbaugh, when you were being smeared for your addiction to painkillers, Savage was there to defend you. Would it hurt either one of you to mention this story for more than fifteen seconds? Glenn? Sean? Anyone? Will you stand up for freedom of speech and do the right thing- or is doing the right thing not enough incentive for you? Maybe you’re only concerned about ratings? Well if that’s the case, I really wouldn’t worry. I happen to know of about eight to ten million people that would watch you a whole lot more if you would only do your job the way Adam Taxin did his.
